About

We’re a Global PR & Creative agency.

We build brands to not just show up in culture, but belong there.

Our philosophy is simple: we do work with Cultural Endurance — shaping brands to go the distance, by unleashing clever, creative ideas, with impact that lasts.

We join the dots to create connected, cultural experiences — bringing together brand strategy, media relations, creator marketing, digital and social, content and experiences, creative, and stakeholder and internal communications.

We don’t just grab attention, we keep it. In a world of short-term thinking, our brands refuse to be forgotten.

Ethos

Culture

As part of MSQ, we're proud to be a B Corp – demonstrating our commitment to creating opportunities for people and treating them right, and doing something important for the place you’re from.

Great work comes from great people, so putting them first is the right thing to do: 10% of the agency are fully trained Mental Health First Aiders, and we've recently worked with Action Mental Health to triple the number of colleagues who have this training.

Cultural connectivity means bringing together a diverse range of views – so we're working with Creative Access and People Like Us to help us accelerate work to build a more diverse and inclusive team, ensure roles are accessible and every applicant is well supported, and help those considering a career in communications navigate some of the early questions and challenges.

Our 'Be The Smarts Change' programme invests £1/2m of time in to our local communities every year, applying our communications skills directly to causes chosen by our team.

And through our #SmartsSustain workstream, we have drastically reduced our environmental impact – we were one of the first marketing groups to become carbon negative in 2020, and since Spring 2023 our Belfast office has been zero waste to landfill. Our regular beach clean-ups around Northern Ireland's coast are just one of the ways we have a positive impact directly in our local communities.

Ambition

We're driven by a bit of restlessness – how can we push further every year?

Over the past five years, we've shot up the PR Week Top 150 Consumer table, from #22 in 2018, to #8 today.

In 2023, we launched our new Creator Hub, to help forge authentic partnerships between brands and content creators. And opened a new office in Amsterdam, reflecting relationships we’ve built in the city over more than a decade, and helping to reduce our travel and environmental impact.

Our ambition for our industry and our clients has seen us deliver one of the UK's most successful print adverts, as independently measured by Kantar, work on the top-performing Super Bowl advert on YouTube, as recognised by Google, and helped a European fashion retailer double their Instagram following in less than a year.

It's why our client satisfaction score has increased year-on-year (from 9.1 in 2021 to an incredible 9.3/10 in 2023) – reflected in a 100% client retention rate over the past year.
