Warner brings together an all star female cast to judge creative work through the female lens in advertising
The Gerety Awards have appointed McCann London’s Executive Creative Director Regan Warner as the Ambassador and Jury President for the London jury.
The Gerety Awards are unique because they judge all advertising, not just advertising aimed at women, through the female lens. With a judging criteria focused on the originality of the creative ideas and the quality of their executions, they set a new bar for creativity in marketing.
Regan Warner, Executive Creative Director at McCann London, explained: “As the Ambassador and Jury President for the London jury of the Gerety Awards, I am honoured to lead a group of such diverse and wickedly talented female leaders.”
She continued: “This jury selection reflects the gorgeous variety of perspectives and expertise within our industry. The opportunity to collaborate with these powerhouses is not only a privilege but also a testament to the inclusive and forward-thinking nature of the Gerety Awards. Together, we aim to highlight and celebrate the most original and impactful advertising work, setting new benchmarks for creative excellence on a global stage.”
The Awards UK jury lineup is a role call of some of the most progressive and impactful creative leaders in UK advertising. They include: Helen James, CEO of CPB London, Ruth Boulter, Creative Director of McCann London, Cressida Holmes-Smith, CEO of Lucky Generals, Kit Altin, Chief Strategy Officer of The Gate London, Rowenna Prest, Chief Strategy Officer of Joint London, Bonita Samuels, Senior Associate Director, Mediacom, Debbie Ellison, Global Chief Digital Officer of VML (commerce), Yem Elizabeth Akingbade, Creative at The&Partnership Jessica Giles, Creative Director at FCB London, Caroline Pay, Chief Creative Officer at Dentsu Creative.
As well as Paula Hochberg, Creative Director at Adam&EveDDB, Dillah Zakbah, Creative Director at BBH London, Nene Parsotam, Creative Director and Emma De La Fosse, Chief Creative Officer at Edelman.
Over 200 judges from 47 countries will join the 2024 Gerety Awards, with in-person jury sessions held in 15 locations across the globe.
The awards are open to all advertising agencies, advertisers, studios and production companies worldwide. Both national and international campaigns may compete. Entries submitted must be broadcast, published or released in a commercial environment with client approval between January 1st, 2023 and the closing date.
