Our new campaign brings the magic of celebration to different everyday moments we've all seen before
Disciplines: Advertising/Creative
Sector: Retail
Agency: Hooray, Mother London
When was the last time you celebrated getting up in the morning five minutes before your alarm? Or the simple, or perhaps not so simple, task of getting your child to fall asleep? These are the moments that IKEA and Mother want you to recognise, and embrace, with their latest campaign Hooray.
Through a young family, the ad brings the magic of celebration to everyday moments and questions why we only seem to celebrate the big things but not the small ones, like tying your shoelace, waking up early or getting a B in a piece of work. Forget your birthday or that big promotion, IKEA wants us to delight in our small achievements, those personal wins that get us through the day.
This campaign is the latest iteration of the Wonderful Everyday ethos that Mother and IKEA have worked on over their seven year partnership. Kemi Anthony, Head of Content and Communication for IKEA and Katie Mackay, Head of Strategy at Mother, will be joining us on stage at BITE LIVE this year, to put their relationship under the microscope.
