The Post Office has rolled out its festive campaign designed to remind consumers of how it can help reduce stress this festive season.

The campaign highlights its Postmaster heroes through its new creative platform; ‘Helping you Master Christmas’.

Christmas is coming, and so too is the annual increase in life admin. From posting gifts to loved ones, sending whole stacks of Christmas cards, managing finances, or returning purchases that weren’t quite right before its time to wrap them; the Post Office understands the stressors of the festive to-do list.

Created by Krow Group, the work transforms three real Post Office Postmasters into CGI characters. The three real-life Postmasters are Gurpreet Kaur Dhillon, Dhaval Gosaliya, and Helen Froggatt. Their CGI look-a-likes star in visuals that guide consumers with postage tips and deadlines.

These characters, and their crew of fictional helpers, represent the unsung heroes of the festive season; the people making sure Christmas runs smoothly. With research showing that Christmas tasks can cause people to feel overwhelmed, the campaign offers a helping hand with key information and tips.

David Enwright, Marketing Director at Post Office, explained: “Christmas is about celebrating and reconnecting with loved ones, but it’s hard working Postmasters across the UK who make much of the season possible. From last posting dates to securely wrapping gifts, there’s a lot for people to remember. This campaign puts the spotlight on our local Christmas helpers, making sure customers have the information and support they need.”

Dhaval Gosaliya, a Postmaster based in Northampton, added: “It’s been a real thrill to be part of this campaign with the Post Office. Christmas is always a hectic time for Postmasters, and it’s special because some people only visit us once a year to send gifts to loved ones. It’s our chance to make their experience smoother and spread some holiday cheer. We’ve decked out the shop with decorations, and while I’m helping customers with customs forms and postage options, I might even point out my festive character on our new signage - it adds a bit of fun to the busy season!"

Running from early November up until the 23rd of December, the campaign will run across in-branch materials, out-of-home, social media, and digital displays. At the same time, Buzzfeed is featuring real Postmasters in a paid content partnership.

Providing key information and aiming to alleviate some of the seasonal stressors, Post Office’s Christmas campaign, is designed to help l people to focus on the magic of the season. Featuring real Postmasters, the work also gives a much needed spotlight to the employees who keep Christmas running smoothly.
