Does the world need another marketing podcast? It’s a resounding no from Visha Kudhail, the host and creator of the Behind the Face of Success podcast.
The acclaimed series, which is back for a second season, features none of the marketing jargon and introspection which so often accompanies marketing podcasts.
Instead, Kudhail is focused on real unfiltered truths. She is looking to burst the marketing bubble with a focus on honest stories of cultural change-makers from marketing and the wider industry who found their own success.
Kudhail has a deep understanding of the challenges facing modern marketing leaders. An understanding built over many years working at some of the industry’s most innovative brands including Pinterest, Google and Thinkbox.
The podcast will launch at Advertising Week Europe. Kudhail will interview Irene Agbontaen, Senior Director of Artist Brand Strategy and Music Brand Partnerships at UTA and Founder of fashion brand TTYA.
Across the industry, I’m hearing the same challenges. Marketing leaders are struggling to inspire their teams and to ensure they stay connected with culture.

The intimate discussion will take place at the Culture Unleashed Lounge at Advertising Week Europe. It will focus on Irene's career journey and how she’s shattering barriers as a visionary fashion entrepreneur, cultural icon and relentless advocate for inclusivity within the industry. Kudhail will dive into what drives business growth and how to keep creativity flourishing. All the while eschewing marketing jargon to focus on uncovering the unfiltered truths behind her successful and multifaceted career.
Kudhail explained: "Across the industry, I’m hearing the same challenges. Marketing leaders are struggling to inspire their teams and to ensure they stay connected with culture. This is why Behind the Face of Success is focusing on the messy truths and real life stories, told through the lens of people from different parts of the creative industries.”
She continued: “We learn more when we listen to people outside of our office buildings or watching our social feeds. By hearing from people is how we tap into culture and learn the all important lessons for today’s business leadership and better creativity."
