The Marketing Academy, a Creativebrief partner, has announced the 30 emerging leaders who will be taking part in the 2014 scholarship programme.

Creativebrief were proud to attend the inauguration party, held at Diageo’s headquarters in North London. In the crowd were leaders in the fields of marketing, advertising and communications, who, like us, were happily sipping on Sminoff Gold cocktails in the new Diageo bar.

The Marketing Academy provides 30 successful scholars with access to some of the UK’s most high-profile marketing experts, entrepreneurs and agency heads. From Philippa Snare, CMO at Microsoft, to Cilla Snowball, Chairman and CEO at AMV BBDO. Mentors volunteer their time to inspire the candidates through one-to-one and group sessions. Now in its fourth year, the non-profit organisation is well on its way to crafting the next generation of world class business leaders.

We have once again been blown away by the level of marketing talent here in the UK. We had some incredibly tough decisions to make when choosing the final 30 scholars and we are grateful to everyone who has helped in the selection process

Sherilyn Shackell, Founder, Marketing Academy

As the new crop of scholars prepare for their first week at bootcamp, we will be watching with anticipation and look forward to working alongside them in the coming year.
