Dr. Eva Kipnis, Professor in Marketing School of Management University of Bradford, and co-presenter of the 2024 Women in Marketing Awards, explained: “History shows many women at the forefront of innovation and social progress, although their pioneering contributions and legacies in the advancement of our world are often unsung. Women in Marketing’s commitment to celebrating female leadership and innovation extends beyond an individual awards cycle. The organisation champions changemakers all year round.

Earlier this year Onilude urged the industry to look outwards to be more creative. She explained: “Marketing is in perpetual crisis mode. We need to look upwards and outwards and recognise the role of the marketing industry and the people making the work in driving business forward.” To mark the 20th anniversary since the creation of the first WIM event, Onilude also paid tribute to the industry leaders who helped the organisation to thrive.
