If there was ever a year which offered the promise of renewal it is 2022. In the wake of a pandemic that ushered in both intense pressure and new possibilities, grasping the opportunity and challenges that come hand in hand with change is at the very top of the industry agenda. 

This year’s conference from the Advertising Association, IPA and ISBA, Renew 2022, opened up a wide-ranging discussion on the role and responsibility of the industry for supercharging this once in a generation reset moment. 

As Nadine Dorries MP, the Secretary of State for Digital Culture Media and Sport, reminded delegates in her keynote speech: “Advertising is the backbone of our creative industries, which more and more are the strongest sources of global power.”
