LEAD 2023 to focus on a collaborative recovery

The Advertising Association, the IPA and ISBA’s annual flagship industry summit will commence on January 25th

Headline speakers have been announced for the annual flagship industry summit from the Advertising Association, IPA and ISBA, LEAD 2023. The schedule is filled with industry leaders and politicians who are all set to give talks that aim to address how the advertising industry can work together across brands, agencies, media and tech companies to help the UK achieve economic stability and aid recovery post-pandemic.

New Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Michelle Donelan MP is set to make her first speech to the industry and Lucy Powell MP, Shadow DCMS Secretary, will outline Labour’s plans for the creative industries.

Advertising industry experts Alessandra Bellini, CCO, Tesco and President, Advertising Association, Julian Douglas, International CEO & Vice Chairman, VCCP and President, IPA, and Margaret Jobling, CMO, NatWest and President, ISBA, will all share their views on the industry’s biggest challenges and opportunities. 

Natalie Trye from Meta and Omnicom Media Group UK’s Dan Clays are also set to talk about progress on inclusion in the lead-up to the next industry-wide All In Census on March 15. 

The hybrid event will be hosted by Broadcaster and journalist Nina Hossain and takes place in person at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, London on January 25. The event will see over 400 senior advertising professionals come together to discuss the industry landscape and drive forward progression. For people who can’t attend in person, the option to join online will remain.
