And so, as quickly as you could say trick or treat, Halloween is over and we’re now in full-on Christmas mode. The fake snow litters shop windows, the street lights are up and your inbox is full of special offers and one-of-a-kind deals.

And so, as quickly as you could say trick or treat, Halloween is over and we’re now in full-on Christmas mode. The fake snow litters shop windows, the street lights are up and your inbox is full of special offers and one-of-a-kind deals. And with November comes the first wave of Christmas ads.
For Save the Children this year, adam&eveDDB have created a humorous spot for Christmas Jumper Day, which takes place on 14th December encouraging everyone to wear their jumpers responsibly. And to particularly consider the circumstances in which you’re wearing them.
We see a spin instructor sweating it out while leading a class, a dangerously placed carrot threatening a dentist’s patient and a police officer having his cover blown by a noisy ho, ho, ho.
The ad points to the lightness and fun of the day, an initiative which was launched in 2012. It also reminds people of the importance of just getting involved and donating no matter what you’re doing on that day, whether at school, work or just at home. People are encouraged to make the world better, with a sweater.
