What shall I have for lunch is the question that is bandied around offices almost as soon as the last bite of toast has been had in the morning. The answer is often conflicting. Do I eat whatever I want? Or do I choose an option that appears to be healthy? If the latter, how do I even establish what the healthy option is?
This is where the Gut Stuff comes in. Its principal purpose is to help us to understand our insides while having fun in the process. The platform was founded by the Mac Twins, both DJs, after they were chosen to be ‘the chief guinea pigs’ for the British Gut Project. Their aim is to enlighten without boring.
JKR worked with the Gut Stuff to create a new brand identity that would reflect the platform’s purpose. In the launch video, pink balloons twist and contort, replicating a person’s insides, from the intestines to the brain and other, more balloon-like parts. The brand identity is playful and simple, a no-nonsense approach to the science behind the body.
The Gut Stuff wants to remind you that your internal health affects everything from your DNA to your brain’s function. So, just remember to eat like you give a shit.
