But stress can be a serious condition and one that affects many more people in our modern world.

BioBase aims to help people cope with, control and reduce their stress levels. Working with Hatched, the guided wellbeing app helps you to understand where your stress comes from and offers you the tools you need to cope.

Stress affects us all in different ways. Some may derive stress from travel or work, while others may find it comes from their home life. BioBase supports you. As you use it, the app records all your information and allows you to focus on finding the balance in your life, helping you find your baseline and rise above it.

Whether we like it or not, our phones are at the centre of both our work and home lives, so it seems only fitting that the solutions to our stress can be found on them as well. The beauty of BioBase is in its illustrated, simple style both in terms of its design and user experience. The app operates from a card system that allows you to follow a linear journey each day, recording and mapping your progress as you go.

BioBase fits into the current trend for technology aided wellbeing and taps into our desire to monitor and track both our mental and physical states. From Fitbits to apps such as Babylon and Headspace, health-based technology is continually enabling us to take care of ourselves and to gain a better understanding of our own ailments, both in body and mind.
