Food & DrinkTo celebrate the release of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania on Disney+, the streaming service has teamed up with Uber Eats to create a miniature menu fit for Ant-Man himself.
The tiny diner, which is called The Quantum Cafe, was created with the help of Mother London. It features a range of dinky delights designed to be the perfect accompaniment for Ant-Man film fans to snack on in the comfort of their home.
The miniature menu was available to Ant-Man fans in London, Bristol and Manchester who could eat like their favourite pocket-sized protagonist from the comfort of their own home via the Uber Eats app.
Playing on the popularity of the miniatures trend, the concept captures the imagination of Ant-Man fans and engages audiences in an immersive experience where they can get a taste of the film first hand.
The Quantum Cafe offered scaled-down servings of popular Uber Eats restaurant options such as miniature sushi, fun-sized fish and chips, petite pizza, very tiny veggie burger, nanoscopic naan bread and slight samosas. The cafe even offered dinky donuts for dessert.
“While this tasting menu might be teeny tiny, it still delivers Uber Eats’ signature big flavours. We know our customers love to watch Disney+ while enjoying their deliveries and hopefully our new offering will allow fans of Ant-Man to eat just like their favourite superhero, no matter how small!” says Matthew Price, Regional General Manager of Uber Eats in UKI, Northern Europe.
The tie-up between Disney+ and Uber Eats is designed to maximise on the benefits of enjoying entertainment at home as both brands are able to deliver experiences straight into consumers living rooms.
Ten lucky recipients were also treated to an extra special surprise in their delivery of an Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania movie poster, signed by actors Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilley. The campaign also saw Uber Eats donate all proceeds from the limited edition mini menu to Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK.
The excitement and novelty of the pop-up gives audiences a well-deserved slice of escapism and helps to create an unforgettable at-home experience bringing a tiny piece of joy directly to consumers.
