UtilitiesWhen you run the taps in your house, you probably don’t think about where that water comes from. Or about how many people had to show up to allow the water to flow freely from your tap.
But the work of water companies is vital, something that Anglian Water’s latest campaign from the Corner aims to champion.
‘Never still, never stop’ celebrates the work of Anglian Water’s staff and their ‘Never still’ mentality. The campaign is designed to improve public perception of the work being done behind the scenes. It stars real staff in actual Anglian Water locations demonstrating the sometimes-unexpected work that goes on behind the scenes.
By geographical mile, Anglian Water is the largest water and wastewater company in England and Wales, employing over 5,000 people and looking after more than six million customers in the east of England and Hartlepool.
Ciaran Nelson, Director of Brand and Communications at Anglian Water explained: “Changing consumer expectations and challenging regulatory pressures mean we must make our brand work even harder for us and bring our customers on a journey of discovery.”
Customers being efficient with their use of water, extensive use of water meters and the best leakage record in the industry mean the company supplies the same amount of water today as it did 20 years ago, despite a 20% growth in its customer base. This campaign is a reminder of the work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure the business is striving to support both people and the planet.
