Learning from 2024 to inform creativity in 2025

The UK’s largest website for properties is ditching category conventions with a festive campaign, created by Neverland.
Rightmove has delivered a festive punchline to its always on approach to marketing with a playful Christmas outdoor advert.
Eschewing the category convention of dialling down marketing for homes during the festive period, Neverland has created a spot advertising Santa’s home. The advert features a trail of sleigh tracks and hoof prints alongside the search prompts: ‘Secret Location. Workshop. Huge parking space’.
Each of the posters in the wider campaign, which launched in August this year, shows a simple image alongside three very specific features someone might be looking for when searching for a property. Together the elements hint towards a fictional character (or as in this case, Neverland is keen to point out a real person!) who may be looking for a very particular type of home.
The series was created to highlight the wide variety of homes on Rightmove, which has the UK’s largest selection of properties for sale and to rent.
The festive campaign will run across railway stations and across the London Underground. Media was planned and booked by Wavemaker UK.
