Celebrating the deliciousness of Little Moons, a new campaign from the brand says that the only thing better than the snack would be if everything was filled with gelato.

A new humorous campaign from Lucky Generals imagines a world where everything we love is made of ice cream.

The new campaign film sees a woman tuck into her Little Moons while sitting on the sofa next to her partner. Longing for everything to taste as good as Little Moons mochi ice cream, a voice-over says “If only everything you loved was squidgy and filled with delicious gelato ice cream”...

The woman turns to her right to look at her partner, before moving towards his arm and taking a bite. Lo and behold her partner is made of mochi, filled with delicious gelato ice cream. The woman lovingly tucks in.

Directed by Arthur Studholme at Magna Studios, the spot builds on the brand platform, “Ice cream from another world”. The quirky, colourful humorous campaign brings to life the playfulness of the Little Moons brand, challenging the traditions of the ice cream category by taking a more surreal approach.

The campaign aims to further the brand’s reach and introduce new audiences to the snack which has a core cult following of predominantly young women. During the pandemic, the brand went viral on social media with people searching far and wide to get their hands on the treat. This new campaign aims to solidify the brand as a snack of the summer by increasing recognition amongst the British public.

“Over the last three years Little Moons has had a stellar rise and become one of the biggest ice cream brands in the country, but the majority of Britons still aren’t familiar with us,” explains Ross Farquhar, Marketing Director at Little Moons. “This new campaign by Lucky Generals aims to put that right, introducing our delicious gelato wrapped in squidgy mochi dough in the most wonderful way.”

In the brand’s signature playful, quirky tone the campaign showcases the joy of tucking into Little Moons using humour to build recognition and excitement around the unique ice cream treat.
