With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Ann Summers and flavour specialists, Knorr have teamed up to deliver a saucy offering. A limited-edition stock pot, ‘Knorrplay’ will be available for free at Ann Summers London Marble Arch store on the 7th of February.

This year, over half of Brits (52%) are expected to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Research from Knorr shows that dining in is the most common way to celebrate with over a fifth of UK adults (23%) opting to keep it intimate and have a home-cooked meal.

Encouraging customers to get cooking together to spark romance, Knorr teases that its Knorrplay stock cube features a secret ingredient. The real secret is that cooking together is the ultimate aphrodisiac.

Ann Summers acts as the perfect partner for the Valentine’s Day tie-up, as a go-to destination for romance enhancement. Building on the insight that a great way to the heart is through the stomach, the ‘Knorrplay’ cube is a cheeky wink to the fact that 32% of adults enjoy cooking together due to the intimacy it creates.

The free limited-edition Knorrplay stock pot will be available at Ann Summers London Marble Arch store from 10am on Friday 7th February, and online at Ann Summers with customers receiving a free Knorrplay stock pot with any orders placed on Valentine’s Day gifts.

The unlikely coupling combines food, romance and humour. A timely reminder of the enduring positive halo effect of light-hearted brand partnerships.
