The free to attend course will focus on how to create impact with outdoor advertising
Media and entertainment brand Global has teamed with D&AD, the organisation that celebrates and promotes excellence in creative design and advertising to create a free to attend masterclass programme.
The Creating Impact With Outdoor Advertising programme launches this week. It is made up of three 60-minute modules taught by award-winning ad industry experts and creative specialists. These include Ant Nelson, Executive Creative Director at adam&eveDDB, Natalie Lam, Chief Creative Officer at Publicis Groupe and Nils Leonard, Co-Founder of Uncommon Creative Studio.
The course, which is available through D&AD, is dedicated to upskilling industry professionals in creatively effective use of outdoor advertising. It will cover topics including marketing objectives, understanding the landscape, how to add emotion, art direction and copy, and how to leverage location.
Anto Chioccarelli, Global’s Creative Solutions Director for Outdoor, says the course is an invaluable resource for anyone who wants to raise the bar for creativity in outdoor and create work that people notice, share, and talk about. He continues: “Outdoor is a powerful format with unparalleled reach in the real world, providing a creative canvas for work that makes people stop in their tracks. Work that inspires action. Work that moves people. This course will uncover what’s possible in outdoor, it’s potential for impact, and the magic it can deliver.”
Jo Jackson, CEO of D&AD added: “With a mission to bridge the gap between education and career, and a belief that great creative work creates better outcomes for all, D&AD is in a unique position to provide contemporary advice and support for new creatives. Coupled with Global’s expertise, and the expertise of inspiring creatives, this course is a great example of how industry experts can help the next generation thrive.”
