F&F launches its homeware collection with garments from award-winning designer Thomas Bird
A new fashion-forward campaign celebrates the launch of F&F Home, featuring striking handcrafted garments made out of household items.
The campaign, which was created with the help of BBH London, promotes Tesco’s newly revamped home range.
The visually striking campaign features garments crafted out of household items created by renowned artist Thomas Bird. Bird carefully crafts a dress out of dinner plates, a gown from knives and forks and a coat from scatter cushions.
Contrasting the growing trend of CGI fashion campaigns, each item was handcrafted by Bird and would not look out of place on a runway. The garments were made by hand, using hundreds of plates and 500 spoons and forks.
“Our clothing customers always want to stay ahead of the latest trends and get great value for money, without compromising on quality. With this exciting first foray into homeware, we’re really pleased to be able to help deliver this same commitment in the home space, with both statement and staple pieces to work with all-manner of styles and tastes,” says Jan Marchant, CEO at F&F Home.
With Fashion Week fast approaching the campaign coincides with the new season, and will run across the UK on TV, OOH, print and social from September 4th for four weeks.
Showcasing the chicness of the range by fusing fashion and home, the campaign positions F&F at the cutting edge of design.
