Chelsea Women’s latest kit features a vertical double Nike Swoosh pointing upwards to celebrate the acceleration of the women’s game.

The new kit, which made its debut last month when Chelsea played Arsenal in Washington at the team’s pre-season tour, is the third kit for the 2024/2025 season.

The kit leans on punk rock culture for inspiration with dayglo colours and black designs. The anthracite grey and black shirt and the shorts have an eye-catching opti yellow and prime pink trim, with the fabric reviving ripped-up, clashing punk patterns. A ‘Blues’ patch inside is etched in typography that is straight out of 1977. The iconic lion from the crest is proudly displayed on the front of the shirt.

Claire Cronin, Chelsea Football Club’s Chief Marketing Officer said: “‘We’re proud to partner with Nike in spotlighting and driving the continued rise of the Women’s game through this year’s third kit and it was brilliant to see Sonia’s team wearing it for the first time in Washington on Sunday.

She continues: “The design really plays into our DNA. Chelsea was at the heart of the iconic British punk scene, with the trailblazing creativity it was known for still a huge part of who we are as a club today.”

The vertical Nike Swoosh is a core part of Nike’s third club kit collection, entitled ‘Together We Rise’.

Nike's official website explained: “Nike Football is introducing its third club kit collection, ‘Together We Rise’, which incorporates each club’s distinct identity, story, and community while celebrating the women’s soccer movement.”

Three Premier League sides are featured in this new collection: Liverpool, Tottenham, and Chelsea. Serie A and La Liga are represented by one club each, Corinthians raise the Brasileiro Women League's flag, while the Liga MX Women has two clubs present: Club America and Pumas.
