About this event

We are all storytellers, or so we’re told. But we are rarely told why this is useful to us – as humans and as marketers – and the rules that go with it. This session will cover what a story is, why stories are so powerful, and cover proprietary research with a film director, documentary maker, fine artist, journalist, teacher and vicar as to best practice of how to tell better stories.

Session explores:

  • What is a story?
  • Why do we tell them as humans and why do we tell them as marketers?
  • Learnings from other storytellers
  • How ’story’ is what has got humans to the top of the food chain, and how it will get any brand to the top of the marketing food chain
  • The importance of story, and the rules of storytelling regardless of your individual role
  • How everything you do tells a story - this session will show your team how to make sure your brand's stories get listened to
  • Useful tools to take away from the session, which will improve your team's brand storytelling
