Letting our hair down

Challenge

A hen party company, you say? When Cluck first talked to us, the obvious clichés sprang to mind. But once our initial cynicism abated, we realised that here was a real opportunity.

Cluck wanted a high-end and varied alternative to the traditional sashes-and-boas affair and a brand that would crystallise this new attitude. How could we resist?

Solution

From our initial brand workshops, which helped define their unique positioning through to launch, this new disruptive model in the pre-nuptial marketplace was a lot of fun. The founders had a real energy and enthusiasm which we strived to realise in their brand.

Our visual identity and tone of voice offered a fresh and surprising take in a tired marketplace. A fun quiz championed the offering’s customised element by determining which type of hen you were. Whether a boozehound, craftaholic or cover girl, the results offered dozens of suggestions – everything from hat-making to axe-throwing.

Bold brand positioning, cool designs and digital interaction – this was a hugely fun project. And not a chocolate penis in sight.
