Alec founded Splendid in 2004 to build a communications agency that creates value for brands in the real world. His previous roles included head of global consumer practice at strategic research consultancy Datamonitor, and head of brands division at Slice, a music and entertainment PR specialist. Alec is a family man and former DJ who has suffered from a life-long vinyl addiction
Niki joined Splendid in 2005 with a background of food and drink PR and now leads the team to deliver best practice across the business and highest quality work for clients. Niki’s work is a clear reflection of her personal life with good food and drink being a keen passion. Apart from her husband the other big love of her life is her dog, Quila, for whom she searches out dog friendly pubs, restaurants and hotels across the country.
Having started her finance career at Unilever, Jane has spent 20 years nurturing independent communications agencies, starting with Wilson Harvey. In 2004, after its merger she was promoted to the Loewy Group board, overseeing 14 agencies. She then opted for a more hands-on role at digital agency Steak, before joining Splendid in 2012. Jane feels privileged to work among people who share her love of great numbers & great music.
As Head of Performance, Gavin has the challenge of developing and driving digital performance for Splendid’s clients. Previous experience includes leading digital performance strategy for a host of global brands at iProspect as well as heading up the B2B business, iProspect Enterprise. Gavin is a basketball fanatic, wannabe film buff and self-proclaimed expert chef, with an unhealthy addiction to sneakers
Alex leads the Splendid digital team, drawing on years of experience building creative social and digital communications campaigns for a range of household brands, across FMCG, financial services, tech, gaming and retail. Hailing from the sandy shores of the Isle of Wight, he is one of the (many) resident Splendid DJs, living off a heady mix of records, rhythms, coffee and coastline.
Frank has been making words and pictures shine for nearly 20 years for agencies including Glue, AKQA, Razorfish, OgilvyOne and Lida. Away from Splendid he promotes long-running warehouse night Low Life and its festival spin-off, as well as bearded DJ forum DJhistory.com. Frank's backstory is in magazine publishing and music journalism and he has a stack of well-loved books to his name.
After 20 years working on the world’s biggest FMCG brands for TBWA, Proximity and Lowe, Jo joined Splendid to lead brand activation across its integrated accounts. She's passionate about great creative work that delivers against commercial objectives, and works closely with our creative teams to do just that. When not at Splendid she’s busy with her three little boys building Lego cars and trying to learn to play Fifa.
Zoe is an FMCG PR specialist with years of experience leading the press offices of some of the world’s best known brands. Zoe heads up the media relations strategy for our press office accounts. She also looks after talent and development across the agency – making sure everyone has the opportunity to make their careers the best they can be. Her passions include running, cycling and travelling the world to experience new cultures.
