WACL Talent Awards 2023 now open for submissions

WACL is offering up grants to support the next generation of female talent in the creative industries.

As part of its ongoing mission to support the next generation of women leaders, WACL has launched its 2023 Talent Awards.

The annual initiative sees WACL issue grants of up to £1,500 to 25-30 women to fund a training course of their choice to support their future goals. Run in partnership with NABS, the awards aim to foster talent and support women on their journey to leadership. 

“We need to invest in the next generation of female leaders now more than ever.” says WACL President Rania Robinson, “We’re so proud to be launching our annual WACL Talent Awards and we actively encourage women to grab this potentially career-changing opportunity.”

Alongside the bursary winners of the Talent Award will also receive a membership to the Futures networking group, created and run by alumni of the Awards. As well as a year’s membership to the Chartered Management Institute and access to a digital workshop hosted by career development company Amazing If.

Since the WACL Talent Awards were launched by Tess Alps in 2005, more than 225 women have received bursaries totalling over £414,000. The awards are designed to help women prioritise their development and accelerate their careers to help them reach their full potential.
