RCOG WORLD CONGRESS

Building and growing an industry-leading international congress


Since 2010, Rapiergroup has worked with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to grow the RCOG World Congress – establishing the event as the world’s premier gathering for professionals in the field.

2016’s World Congress saw 2,500 delegates attend the event at the Birmingham ICC, UK. As in previous years, we planned and managed all aspects of the event, from developing the creative strategy to registering visitors and building an easy-use event app for delegates. Registration sold out a full nine weeks before doors opened, while sponsorship support – managed by Rapiergroup – enabled us to build on previous years’ successes by providing an engaging and impactful educational experience.

Working with RCOG to improve their World Congress each year is essential to keep the event relevant and ahead of its field, in turn enabling the charity to continue to expand their lifesaving work. In 2016, we helped RCOG exceed their income target for the event – representing 13% growth on financial performance in 2013 through strategic planning of all areas of income generation.
