The Challenge

Samsung challenged us to create an incentive and reward program for Three Retail agents over an 8-week period.

Our aim was to encourage retail agents within Three stores around the UK to trust Samsung as a brand enough to sell their products, as well as ensuring Samsung is seen as a well-positioned market leader. We used Samsung’s key passion points, including elements of Travel, music and sport as inspiration from the very beginning. 

Delivery.

We created an interactive microsite, which hosted short quizzes which gave the agents an opportunity to win weekly prizes, ranging from Freak-shake kits to Ticketmaster gift cards. Agents who entered all 8 quizzes were entered into the draw for the grand prize: an all-expense paid trip to Toronto, Canada.

On the trip, they enjoyed a MLB game, watching the New York Yankees battle it out against the Toronto Blue jays, an intimate Kings of Leon gig at the Budweiser stadium, a beach day trip to Woodbine Beach and finally, a day trip to Niagara falls with an experience of a boat trip to get drenched under the falls.

The heavily prized incentives and especially the grand prize encouraged positive chatter around Three and Samsung, receiving some incredible feedback from both clients and competition participants.

Key Stats:

42% agents registered

Average of 41% quiz participation across all 8 weeks.

Very strong feedback from Samsung, Three and the incentive winners, with 93% of those voting the trip as one of the best holidays they had ever had.
