Building a brand narrative that is true to the founding ethos

CAU is a small chain of restuarants like no other in the UK — exciting, irreverent, Buenos Aires-influenced family places where you can expect the unexpected. We were asked to help take the fun and quirky brand essence and build on it to take the brand story further. CAU were already doing some great stuff and our job was to take that to the next level.

Our job initially was to expand on the brand narrative and create a raft of brand assets that could be used across all communications from in-restaurant to digital and social assets. Our brief continued to grow and included environmental graphics, advertising, experiential and PR support.





Whether we're working on a seasonal promotional campaign like Christmas or tactical applications like a food truck, our job is to bring out the 'CAU-ness' and make sure that it shines. In the hugely competitive hospitality sector, a strong and clearly articulated brand can be as powerful as a named chef or landmark restaurant.
