The M&C Saatchi Events & Experiential team cannot come more highly recommended. We had a fairly open brief and a short turn around time but they quickly set to work dissecting what would be the most effective iteration of an experience for press, bloggers, customers and stakeholders. Together we came upon 'MADE PRESENTS' - a residency featuring a series of experiences coming under 'MADE to experience', 'MADE to taste', 'MADE to be heard' etc. The team suggested a good variety of spaces for the event and we settled on a space in Shoreditch which begun life as a carpark. Having worked in PR/Events for a while, I was fully prepared to arrive at the space a day or so before and see an unfinished mess but reassured myself it's never finished until the last minute and it'd all be ok on the day. To my amazement, everything was even better than the renders, and finishing touches like plants and candles were being installed. I don't think I've ever slept soundly the night before an event until that day. The team co-ordinated an amazing range of contributors for the masterclasses and arranged a bar and cafe to run for the 10 days. As people pulled out at the last minute and plans changed, the M&C team only came with solutions which seemed even better than the original plan. I never arrived to the space to see anything but a slick, clean, tidy operation with a great buzz. With Olga leading the team, we had absolute confidence that everyone who visited would have a great experience and got great feedback from the senior stakeholders from MADE who often popped by unannounced. M&C understood the business objectives of MADE.COM and whilst experiential activations can be hard to measure, they definitely showed success in terms of numbers and engagement.
